Did you see Thrivent’s article about our Strike for Hope 2020 event in the Gettysburg Times today?

We celebrated our third-annual Strike for Hope event with Thrivent Financial on 2/22/20. We had 80 participants register - a huge jump from the 50 that registered last year! We were once again at Rockwell Lanes and had the BEST time! A huge thank you to the owner Jason for being the best host! We had Deliso's pizza this year which was delicious - thank you to Deliso's for your assistance!... The biggest thank you goes to Thrivent Financial and their Strategy Team for gathering a huge variety of donations for our raffle prizes. Everyone was so excited to walk away with a special treat for attending! And of course, thank you to our fabulous mentors for attending and meeting other community members who are interested in volunteering with Project Hope. <3

Raffle donations of any sort are welcome. In the past, we have had a few raffle prizes geared toward the mentees (teenagers) such as backpacks and snack baskets, which makes it more exciting for the kids. Raffle donations should be dropped off to Thrivent’s office at 1400 Proline Place (near the Gateway Complex and Pella) by Wednesday, February 19. Our office hours are Monday thru Friday 8:30 4:30PM.
