MY SOUL REJOICES IN MY GOD: I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. Isaiah 61: 10. The above verse is God’s promise to His people after the Messiah comes with healing and power to bless them with the Lord’s favor. In many ways, this is our prom...ise as Christians. We rejoice greatly because God has delivered us from the law, sin, and death through the coming of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. Because of His sacrifice, we are now children of God and are clothed with Christ (Galatians 3: 26-27). We have also received the garment of salvation and robes of righteousness. My Prayer: Oh God My Father. Your mercy and grace endures forever. Please God in Your Mighty power, open the doors of freedom, peace, love, joy, good health, prosperity and everlasting possibilities for me to shine. Be my shield when evil doers attack me. Let me stay under Your wings and be nurtured by Your Spirit. Please keep me away from temptations, mockers and wicked people. I humbly ask in Jesus Name, Amen. Remember that I love you but Jesus loves you much more. C. Franklin Iyasere. See more

THE LOVE OF JESUS IS ENOUGH: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3: 16. We all, at one point or time, have felt the brutal pain of rejection. It can take the living breath out of us and leave us feeling unloved. Jesus understands this rejection and the pain He endured on the cross for us was indeed the most brutal act of mankind. Because of His death on the cross we have vict...ory. Jesus didn’t go through this kind of torture for us to live life feeling unloved. He did this because He loves us and we have a choice daily to choose Him. His love is enough. We are complete in Him. Things can get pretty messy when we mess up our life and others. It’s hard work to travel down the long road of forgiveness. It’s not uncommon for Christians to believe that they are failures. It hurts when others turn against us, but God will never reject us. We are redeemed and forgiven. Remember that I love you but Jesus loves you much more. C. Franklin Iyasere. See more

Next Sunday, Dave Willauer, an ordained Church of the Brethren pastor, currently serving as Minister of Caregiving at the Parkerford Church will be blessing us with a sermon titled: Overcoming the World based on 1 John 5:1-12. Synopsis: Our world is filled with trouble. Jesus told us to expect it. Guaranteed. But then he said, "But take heart! I have overcome the world." Jesus overcame the grip that sin and death had on us. Then John writes in his first letter that we are to overcome the world. How is that supposed to happen?

Pastor Franklin’s message next week 10/25 The New Heaven And The New Earth: Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They ...will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. He who was seated on the throne said, I am making everything new! Then he said, Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true. Revelation 21: 1-5. The final goal and the biblical expectation of Christians are a new, transformed and redeemed world where Christ lives with His people and righteousness dwells in holy perfection. The new earth will become the dwelling place of both humans and God. We will possess bodies like Christ’s resurrection body, ones that are real, visible and tangible, but incorruptible and immortal. The best part of it all is that God will remain with us forever. Hallelujah! C. Franklin. See more
