It's the end of an era. Today, begins our major cat room renovations. Our outdated cat kennels from the 1950s are long overdue for an upgrade. We are so excited to modernize the cat room and match our progressive sheltering methods with an improved facility. Our cat room will be filled with customized cat condos/towers built by Mason Company, and we plan to build a special cat colony space for our longer residents. The adoption experience will also be enhanced with an area... to meet with our kitties one-on-one. In addition to the major demolition; cosmetic upgrades will also be completed with the renovation including: fresh paint, new lighting, new flooring, new windows, etc. This is a HUGE undertaking for our tiny country shelter with a massive price tag--but our shelter kitties deserve the best and our community has patiently waited long enough for a modernized shelter. It's 2021--watch out world here we come. Today, on this $5 Friday, we ask that if you have a couple spare dollars to donate it towards our renovations. Your donation helps so many local strays, owner surrenders, and victims of cruelty/neglect. Your donation quite literally is the only thing that sustains our lifesaving mission.

WARNING STUD ALERT Devilishly handsome looks and cool vibes put off from Tyson may cause sudden heart palpitations, flushness of the face, and sudden urge to adopt. Just go with it. Follow your heart. ... Tyson is the bees knees. He will play with toys for hours on end, go for hikes, and sit pretty for photos. He knows his basic commands and is reportedly housebroken in the home. Tyson can be a tad mouthy at times and is a strong puller---an adult only home where he can be the only pet is a must.
