Penn State Beaver's Criminal Justice degree prepares graduates to work in various aspects of the field. Three graduates returned to the campus to talk about what they've been doing since their graduation from Penn State Beaver.

The Student Success Committee will be on the go around campus! Each month the committee members will be at two different locations on campus to meet you where you are. The committee will be there to offer support and resources. You will be able to find the committee from: 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7 in the campus library.... 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10 in the gym. 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28 in the MBB. 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, March 3 in the LCB. Due to expected inclement weather, Penn State Beaver on-campus work/activities are canceled from 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 3 until 11:59 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4. Only essential employees to report. Staff to work remotely. Classes canceled. On-campus work and activities will resume Saturday, Feb. 5.

Students, Penn State is offering 100% government-funded work study positions that entail working with pre-school to 8th grade children on reading, math and science skills. There are no set hours or minimum hours worked expectations. If you are interested in work study hours that entail partnering with schools, child care organization and literacy units and you’re interested in working with young children individually or in small groups to increase their reading, math and science skills. Haven’t been able to complete the SAT or ACT tests? Don’t worry. Penn State Beaver is allowing applicants to opt-out of using college admissions test scores in the application process. So whether you couldn’t take the test, or didn’t like the scores you earned, you can choose not to include them when you apply to Penn State Beaver. Check out Penn State’s Test-Optional FAQ to learn more.

Penn State Beaver students, If you are in the area and need Zoom rooms to take your classes, we still have classrooms open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The campus map on our website beaver.psu.edu lists all of the rooms that are available.

Energy and fan support are important to all athletic events. The energy of a Penn State fan is like no other, and our Penn State Beaver Athletics Department recently invested in a new scoring table to add to this vibrant atmosphere.
