What are our hungry caterpillars up to? While at first it may look like they're all just hanging around, our fuzzy friends are just about ready to go into a big sleep. Tune in to see how they make their beds

Its a bird! Its a plane! Its superhero day at Rainbow's End! The kids suited up today as their favorite heroes, and made their own capes to match! The center is plenty safe with these heroes around.

Today was Tractor Day at Rainbow's End! We got to see some heavy machinery here at the center, and the kids had some fun sitting in the driver seat. You may have even heard the kids testing the horn, we found that it works just fine!
Happy Easter from Rainbow's End! We're getting in the holiday spirit and giving the Easter bunny some help by making our very own dyed eggs and having an Easter Egg Hunt

Tuesday was day two of our Week of the Young Child events, and Rainbow's End was in full swing for Tasty Tuesday! The kids made their own lunches, according to their own recipes! We followed up our culinary creativity with some yoga workouts to keep us in shape going into the rest of our week's activities!

Rainbow’s End is recognizing World Down Syndrome Day! Inside us, we have tiny things called chromosomes. Chromosomes determine much of who we are, from our hair and eye color to our height. While most people have 46 of these chromosomes, people with Down Syndrome have 47. These tiny chromosomes look like little, colorful socks, so we’re recognizing this important day by wearing colorful and fun socks! Rubi, one of the many smiling faces at Rainbow’s End, has Down Syndrome. B...ecause it is a genetic disorder, like sickle cell anemia or cystic fibrosis, Down Syndrome is present at birth, and is not contagious or curable like a virus or bacteria. People with Down Syndrome live life with their own unique challenges like everyone else. With proper care and education, people with down syndrome live life just fine. Rubi and others with Down Syndrome may have a harder time with certain things like talking, walking, or playing with toys, but this doesn’t stop them from having fun with friends, laughing, singing, and doing all of these things regardless of the difficulties they face. We hope that everyone can join us today in recognizing that we are more alike than different, and each of us belong. See more

Some of our Pre-K kids got to escape the winter cold today during their indoor beach party! Their theme this week was the letter "O" for ocean, and the party was a fun way to wrap up the week.
We would like to thank Staples in Washington for donating these care packages to our kids! Each bag included a folder, crayons, pencils, erasers, and hand sanitizer.
Last week, our three-year-old preschool class had a PJ-themed winter celebration since our normal Christmas party had to be canceled. The kids had a blast playing a snowball toss game, making snowman snacks, playing in the snow, and creating snowman ornaments!

Check out this awesome letter from a Rainbow's End parent to our preschool teacher, Ms. Dana: "You believed in Tucker and his abilities when many saw a kid with a disability. You held him to the same standards and helped prove to him and all around that he could do anything he put his mind to." Read the full letter here: https://yourpathways.org/our-stories/tucker/

Get yours now by emailing Pam Bockstoce at [email protected], and letting her know how many tickets you want to purchase and for what color wreath (blue, yellow, or pink). Winners for each wreath will be selected on August 31st.
