Much like how we maintain our fire station and fire trucks, we take great pride in our social hall and how we take care of it. Located right off of Lincoln Way in White Oak, we are in a great location that’s a short drive from a variety of locations. Tickets will be on sale next week for our annual Sportsman’s Bash! We had a change of venue and will be having it at the White Oak Athletic Association. See one of your local RVFC firefighters for your tickets. As always 100% of money raised goes to the volunteer fire department.

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of life member Shirley Riemenschneider-Pitchford. Shirley’s history with the fire company goes back to the earliest days of the fire company in assisting before she was even a member, then serving on the ladies auxiliary for both White Oak fire companies for many years, and eventually becoming a full active member at Rainbow VFC. She held many roles in the fire company throughout her time and was a fixture at every single event a...nd fundraiser held by the fire company. The title mostly fondly remembered by all the members will be she was The mom/ grandmother of the Rainbow Volunteer Fire Company. Shirley embodied everything that was good about being a volunteer; a selfless devotion to your fellow humans and giving whatever you can in yourself. Words cannot describe how much she will be missed. We ask that you take the time today to do a kind deed for someone and expect nothing in return in Shirley’s memory. See more

We want to see your Christmas tree! If you purchased a tree from us this year, post a picture of your tree once it’s setup and decorated! We would love to see them! Thank you all for your continued support!

We know it’s a little early but we are excited that this will be one of our fundraisers that we can actually do in this crazy year!! A lot of you that get your Christmas tree from us have made it a part of your family’s tradition and we are so happy to be a small part of your holiday. So come down Next Saturday and continue a tradition or start a new one!

Just an update on upcoming events for everyone: -Due to the current pandemic restrictions we will cancel our annual Season of Lights celebration. We are truly saddened by this but as long as Covid lets us, we will bring it back for next year! -Santa will still be riding around the Borough on Christmas Eve! Our firefighters might not be able to hand out candy canes like we usually do, but we will still make sure Santa will be out for all the kids to see. We will get more inf...ormation out on that when it gets closer. - Finally we will still be selling Christmas trees this year beginning Saturday November 28th at 9am. We will be putting out a flyer on that tomorrow. All our firefighters will be wearing masks as per health department protocols and to ensure the safety to you our public. We hope to see you then!

With Covid-19 restrictions we had to close the doors to our station to non-members in the interest of safety. While we cannot wait for the day we can allow the public back into the station, we decided to film a virtual tour in the mean time! We hope you enjoy a look at your local volunteer fire station!!
