Malvina was the wife of a New Orleans dentist, Dr. Edmund Kells. She began assisting him at his practice in 1885. By having Malvina in his office, many women would visit to seek dental treatment because they would feel comfortable in the presence of another woman. This was the true beginning of the dental assistant profession. Thank you, Malvina!
We want to take this week to thank all of our dedicated dental assistants who always provide best-in-class care to our patients. We celebrate you and all of the hard work that you put in each and every day! Thank you!

People who drink 3 or more sugary sodas daily have 62% more dental decay, fillings, and tooth loss. Try swapping out that soda for some high quality H20 which can help keep your teeth clean and help wash away food debris.
You can reduce it by trying to breath through your nose when your outdoors, flossing regularly, and avoid whitening treatments and acidic foods which can increase sensitivity. In addition, ask us about how to help ease sensitivity at your next appointment.
