With the upcoming freeze, here are a few tips to help you through. 1) During the extreme cold, leave your faucets run a little, both hot and cold lines. 2) Open all base cabinet doors 3) Ensure that your exterior hose bibs are drained 4) If your furnace fails, call an HVAC Contractor immediately... 5)Bump your furnace up a few extra degrees 6) Make sure all windows and doors are securely closed 7) If using space heaters make sure that the area around is free of combustible materials 8) Now is a good time to check your CO detector batteries 9) Make sure your furnace filter is clean 10) Make sure your registers are free of obstructions 11) Limit your time out in the extreme cold 12) Check on loved ones, especially the elderly See more

Our heartfelt condolences go out to all of the victims, their families, and friends of the shootings that occurred at the Tree of Life Synagogue on Saturday. Cecil and David Rosenthal lived at our Morrowfield Ave. apartments for many years so we are particularly saddened by this horrific event. We hope that the outpouring of love and support will provide some comfort to the families during this time of grief and healing.
