As many are aware, the COVID-19 pandemic has been especially hard for loved ones who reside within nursing homes. Some of the people we care about most have been isolated and without their loved ones for more than 10 months, some as long as 12 months. Now more than ever, it is evident that the residents need some love and joy! Party Stop is asking for support from the community to show nursing home residents how much they mean to us and how VERY special they are. We are joining an international movement to #adoptagrandparent! This movement spreads joy to nursing home residents by surprising them with a balloon arrangement -- "Balloon Buddy" -- and a special message. You may adopt as many residents as you like. The goal is to send EVERY single resident at these facilities a special Balloon Buddy with a message of love and hope. ---------------------------------------------- Balloon Buddy Pricing: 1 for $15 4 for $50 Price includes Balloon Buddy, tax, and delivery to the nursing home. Deliveries will be made once we have enough sponsors to gift a Balloon Buddy to each resident. We are now seeking sponsors for residents at Rhodes Estates (approx. 60 residents) and the Haven Convalescent Home (approx. 90 residents); nonetheless, we hope to reach the residents at as many nursing homes and/or care centers as possible in Lawrence County.
