Attention Outlook.com users who use Microsoft Outlook to sync mail, contacts and calendars - Microsoft has broken their autodiscover mechanism that allows Outlook.com accounts to sync to Outlook desktop version. This broke within the last 72 hours. If you only use Outlook web, you are not affected. Cell phones also do not seem to be affected. We have opened a ticket with Microsoft and have the following update: We're continuing to perform validation of our fix and expect this process to complete within the next three to four hours. Once complete, we’ll initiate deployment of our solution to the affected infrastructure. The fixes will be in the service so no changes needed on the client. If I get any better updates I will post back. Otherwise we will just need to wait on the service fixes to be deployed.

We will soon be firing two vendors of ours that we considered subpar, but whom we did not terminate because of logistical and migration issues. A recent spat of downtime lasting a day (and counting) has forced us to re-evaluate our position, initiate emergency migration measures, and fire the underperforming vendors. Just another way we work for the best interests of our clients.
