It's about that time!! Starting Monday, June 21st, the Ricketts Center will be openings its doors once again and slowly reintroducing community recreation. Summer programming for select students will take place in the morning and at 1:00 pm, the building will be open for our older youth to take part in the use of the gym and other rec items. No fees, no hassles, just a membership needed! Also note our new designated "adult only" nights, where those age 21 and up can have time... in the gym and rec room. **Please be mindful that we are still dealing with the COVID-19 virus. For this reason, we will be limiting the number of people in the building at one time and mask will be required for youth programming.** Please feel free to reach out with any comments or questions!

Due to the current weather, all programming at the Ricketts Center is canceled today, Monday, February 1st, and the building will be closed. This includes all day time and evening programs. We will monitor the weather closely to determine if any adjustments will need to be made to tomorrow's schedule. ***Family Bags Available Again!!*** Good Morning All!! We would like to inform you that family bags of shelf stable foods are once again available at the Ricketts Center. Just as before, bags will be available on Friday, January 8th, from 9 AM to 12:30 PM. Bags can be picked up at 658 Beech Street, Ricketts Center. We ask that only one bag per household be taken. If you are aware of someone who is not able to come themselves to pick up a bag, we do allow for community members to pick up for others. Bags are first come, first serve. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

We at the Ricketts Center would like to inform all that, due to an unfortunate mix-up, there will be no family bags available this week. We apologize for this inconvenience this may cause. We are currently doing what we can to ensure that this service will continue upon the new year. We appreciate your patience and understanding and hope you all have a safe and happy holiday season.

Students were all smiles today as they ended their school day with food and goodies to welcome in the holidays. Students enjoyed a delicious pizza lunch from The Pourhouse Pottstown, Pa and Little Italy Pizza, danced to some music, and received bags of goodies and snacks to take home. A huge THANK YOU also goes to community member Victoria Dunay Koehler for her kindness in making personalized stockings filled with goodies for each of our students. No better way to end a crazy program year than with smiling faces!!

Due to the upcoming holiday, family bags will NOT be available this week. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Bags WILL be given out next week, but will be on Wednesday, December 30th from 9 to 12:30. We will make another post as a reminder so all are aware of the time and date for next week.

In light of the current weather and concerns for Thursday morning commute, the Ricketts Center will be CLOSED tomorrow, Thursday, December 17th. There will be no virtual programming or fitness center use. Regular programming will resume on Friday, December 18th. Stay safe everyone!
