Room 244 turned 1 year old today! Exactly 1 year ago, we opened our doors on a beautiful May First Friday. I originally planned to do a huge celebratory First Friday event today, but unfortunately it is unsafe. Here are some memorable moments from the past year. Check out the last photo of my window when I first opened! It’s no where near the lil jungle it is today. And just like the window plants, we have also grown as a small business and learned to fill our space, lite...rally and figuratively! Looking back, we’ve come a long way in the past year, learning and growing as we went along, doing our absolute best the whole way. Our goal was to promote art and culture in Old City alongside other beautiful galleries and venues, and I feel we’ve done just that. Every time a visitor says this is my favorite gallery or this is my go-to on First Friday it makes all the hardwork totally worth while. I love connecting with locals in a way I have never been able to before. I love seeing regulars, hell I love that I even have regulars!! The Room 244 team thanks each and every one of you who have supported us and enjoyed our events. Even @andre3000 came by during Old City Fest!
