Hey @pepsi how do you justify your annual 4% to 5% increase to the restaurants this year? You dont have to because you can. As you mention in the letter "price increases can be challenging". How about survival can be challenging during these times. You dont care your NET revenue was up over 5% in the 3rd qrt this year. We have not seen or can name our local rep in years and we were out of sweet tea for 2 months. Thank you for making our Friday with such great news. Please continue that unequaled service and consistent consumer value you brag about!

It's a special day in the fast food world. A certain chain has just brought back its limited time holiday (?) specialty BBQ sandwich. It was 10 years ago when Rowdy The Rooster went claw vs clown shoe with the big bully. Unfortunately the bully had way deeper and baggier yellow coverall pockets. Thinking the Chicago lawyers cost more to send us this cease and desist letter than a months of sales for us in November a decade ago. The best line in the letter is regarding our "attempt to falsely disparage the quality.... and divert customers to Rowdy BBQ". Go get them for a limited time ... see us another time any day between 11 and 8 to be specific.

To all of the veterans who humbly and honorably served our country we are grateful that we are able to live in this free country because of you. Today, tomorrow and Friday it would be our honor to buy you lunch or dinner. Mention this post for a free sandwich, side and a drink. Please wear a mask when picking up or ordering at the front window... our struggle is real everyday with that issue. The loss of business and poor reviews because of that request is ok with us. Hi everyone. We are needing to close early today due to some plumbing issues. We hope to be open tomorrow depending on how quickly we can get someone there to resolve our issue. Cannot lie the staff who have been working in this awful heat is happy to go home early.

Hello everyone..hope y'all had a good holiday weekend. We had quite the wild one. We apologize for anyone that could not get through or was not able to put an order in. At times our call ahead waiting was 2 hours and walk up an hour which has never happened. To give the staff a day off we have decided to close tomorrow Tuesday May 26th and will reopen on Wednesday. Thank you so much for your patience and support!

This straightforward sign says it all. Created by a front of house employee who was tired of people not wearing a mask often sticking their head under the safety glass. Her like most of us dont really care about those who choose not to wear one. But we care a lot about the other customers, staff and our loved ones. Yes It is not the law. you are outside, it is hot, it is loud however most important our right to enforce. On a positive note now that outside dining is permitted the picnic tables and umbrellas are up and as always we are open 11 to 8 everyday!

Happy Fathers Day weekend! The post says it all including the phone number. Calling ahead is always recomended. Especially larger orders since there are obvious unique circumstances this year. We expect a wild one for sure so you may want to anticipate longer pickup time. We are grateful for the business and your patience.

As dad used to say before hitting you with his belt...."this is going to hurt me as much as it hurts you". We have always prided ourselves in having the lowest prices around but based on the supply shortages we have been left with no choice but to implement a temporary increase. The good news is that chicken prices are stable ( for now but expected to go up in 30 days) and our ribs prices will not change since those prices are locked in for the year.

We had the pleasure on yesterday's rainy Sunday to feed the staff at Giant Eagle Market District in Bethel Park. The great management there buys the 250 staff lunch every Sunday from a local restaurant and we are grateful they chose us! Brisket, BBQ pulled chicken, beans and potato salad hopefully filled them up.

Great news! Starting today there is no longer an additional charge on some items as it appears for now pork and beef prices are slowly dropping. As we did what we felt was prudent our minds were blown at times. The angry response and backlash to employees over the phone, in person, social media and emails that we wish we could share were unexpected. We are grateful for the majority however who understood and continued to support us. To the haters you don't deserve the quality of food and prices we charge ($6 pulled pork and,$7 brisket) however we suspect we will see you at some point.

Want to give our thoughts and prayers to one of the peeps from our Rowdy BBQ family who is having major surgery today. This amazing young lady has battled before as a child is facing some adversity once again. Ironically she just finished nursing school and was scheduled to start serving others but is postponed while she recovers. Its a confusing time with the current crisis but every day people are having non related emergencies and challenges we lose sight of.

We will be closed Easter Sunday. Still taking orders for BBQ and homemade sides by the pound from our catering menu. Kind of wish it was 2012 again. That is not reality it is a much different planet unfortunately. We are still open every day from 11 to 8. Calling ahead 412-882-6788 is not necessary but suggested . We are being extremely thorough sanitizing and handling all food and the areas within the restaurant. Cannot be too safe and hope that we get to see you when you are ready to leave the house. Supporting an amazing cause with some amazing peeps and pups in Dormont park today!

We are happy to announce that Rowdy BBQ will be expanding to Bethel Park and we are keeping our current location in Brentwood. Grateful for allowing us to serve those customers for over 15 years who are allowing this to happen. Starting in Sept we will be offering many of our current menu items through the kitchen of the Jugo-Slav club. We are no longer persuing the opportunity we were considering in Hillcrest plaza in B.P. for many reasons. Thank you to those who encouraged ...and supported that plan. Unfortunately and curiously others did not. Ironically our original plan we started in Jan had us opening in the fall. It all worked but at a different location. We are going to walk before we run and slowly increase the menu selection, days and hours of operation through Sept. The Jugo-Slav has a lot of great history, great members, and soon a great kitchen. We also need to let you know the back room is open to the public! Details to follow....

Then onto Bethel Park Millennium Fireworks and huge car cuise at Peters Creek Church. On top of all that we had lots of catering in between...
