WOW! 40+ "Likes" in less than a day! People are so supportive! Thank you! There are still more elements and details to be revealed, and we hope it will be even more exciting for folks... Not that SNOWBALLS aren't exciting enough by themselves. ;)

We are hoping for a soft opening quite soon, but we are not open for business yet. We have a bit more work to do and some quality testing... Please stand by!

So, there as been no news lately about the opening of The Rox Box and we have had some (awesome!) people asking, so.... The simple truth: The idea of The Rox Box basically came out of desperation: A simple way to taking care of our family. Our economic situation has not been so great in recent years, and even with outright miracles and TONS of caring and helping people, we were not in a very good place work-wise or financially. ... No one really expects to get rich off of a business like a snowball stand, but it was the only thing that we could come up with as an idea for some cash flow without a tremendous cash outlay. We talked and prayed about the idea and felt confident that it was an idea that was not our own, but rather an idea that was placed in our hearts. We sensed God's leading and had (and continue to have) several ideas about how it would look and the possible path that it would take if things went well. Well, we are happy to report that there is good evidence that God has something VERY SIMILAR in mind to what we believe that we were hearing and, yet something QUITE DIFFERENT! Withing 36 hours after committing to starting The Rox Box, there were no less than 6 significant job offers/opportunities - where there had been NONE for MONTHS and MONTHS. (If this part interest you, there is much more to this... just ask) We now have come to the place where we believe that the idea for The Rox Box was God's idea, but that He allowed the circumstances to take place so that the idea could form, develop and mature... so that the foundation would be laid as part of His much larger plan! It REALLY is a joy to report that everything seems to point to The Rox Box existing for the purpose of supporting something much bigger than one family.... Many of you have heard of Roxtreme! Actually, many of you have helped at, prayed for, donated to, etc... the whole idea of ROXTREME. The timing is still not known, but the idea of The Rox Box seems to go along with supporting the vision of ROXTREME. If you are not familiar, Roxtreme is (at this stage) a ministry concept that is built around a few elements: - Connected Community - Faith Based Outreach, Care and Ministry - Extreme Sports (bike, board, blade, etc) - Live Music - Bonfires - DIY Culture - Mentoring and Quality Time Essentially, a youth center (that doesn't care a whole lot about age) without walls that seeks to reach out to the community and connect people with their Creator and their purpose in life. There is much more, but this post is already preposterously long... If you feel like you want to be part of this vision, we believe the time to start may be soon.

Still delayed, but the animal lovers will probably benefit. The petting farm portion is still moving ahead. There are young or baby: ducks, rabbits, goats and a few other friendly creatures.

So, besides the most recent days being the coldest in PA history (for this time of year), we also have had a set-back in our all-natural syrups.... We will not be opening tomorrow night... :( Sorry for the delay. Please stand by.
