I was blessed once again,at the opportunity to finally get a shot at this buck I named Jennings! If you are wondering why I named him that, it's because of my b...uddy Matt Jennings. He has a show called The Game and he has been by my side for many years. Well that's exactly what this buck did with me all season! He played many GAMES with me and I have only had a hand full of bucks do what Jennings did to me through out this season. I had planned on him being my number two buck for my NJ season but he managed to slip between me every time. At one point I figured he was dead and refocused my efforts on different bucks. I have lots of photos of him since he started eating B16 and would visit my mock scrape from Rubline Scents. I will post the history of photos another time but he was definitely a player!! What this buck didn't realize was who he was playing game against lol. Well he finally came face to face with me and at 30 yards quartering towards me, I CUT THE ZEUS LOOSE! It went in behind his shoulder and completely through his body exciting the rear leg but not before snapping the rear leg bone. That broadhead did so much damage it was incredible! Once again I was blessed and I will always preach about knowing your equipment and capabilities when it comes to hunting because that's half the battle. Steady Form once again kept me true and aided me in slipping that Deer Crossing Archery arrow right in the zone!
