Rushland R/C Speedway by Torodyne

We are adding Novice Stocks and Euro Trucks to the Full Fender Frenzy this Sunday, Novice can be any body on a 2 wheel drive truck/buggy, Euro Trucks will be Tamiya TT01 chassis based, any battery.

Just a reminder, we are not racing tomorrow, next race will be November 29th, the Full Fender Frenzy.

Along with the Spooky and Goblin race we ran a 100 lap Street Stock feature, 30 lap 12T novice feature and a 50 lap 13.5 feature, once again Willie showed the way in the Street Stocks with John in 2nd and Dean in 3rd, the Novices had Jack winning again with Sammy in 2nd and Casey grabbing 3rd, the 50 lap 13.5 feature had Too Tall taking the win with Willie in 2nd and Reed in 3rd. We will be taking next week off but will be back on 29th for the Full Fender Frenzy.

The Spooky 150 and Goblin 50 are in the books after a two week reschedule due to rain, our TQ’s were Slammin Sammy and Willie O, they each got $25 for their efforts thanks to Jay Rogers, the halfway leader of the Spooky was Too Tall and he came home with $25 for that thanks to Matt Bruns. The Goblin 50 was won by Jack with Sammy in 2nd and Christopher in 3rd, the Spooky 150 was won by Willie with Too Tall in 2nd and Kaine in 3rd. Thanks go out to Investors Bank, Jay and Matt and everyone who came out on the 1st and those who came out today, and to Justified for coming up with the idea and starting this annual tradition.

This coming Sunday will be the continuation of the Spooky 150 and Goblin 50, only the cars that were here on the 1st are eligible to run. We will run a $25 to win non qualifier for those who don't make the A main and anyone who wasn't here on the 1st, also we will be running a 100 lap Street Stock race and if enough interest possibly a 50 lap feature for the 13.5 Mudboss's and 50 lapper for the 12T Mudboss's.

Turkey 220 is in the books, 29 12T Mudboss’s signed in to battle for 12 spots. Just a couple days away from the Spooky 150 for 13.5 Big Block Mudboss's and Goblin 50 for Novices, practice at 10 qualifying at 12.

Congratulations to Tom P on taking the Tune up for the 220 point win, he gets a guaranteed paid starting spot in the Turkey 220 on November 8th.

We almost got it all in before the rain came, we ran a shortened Novice feature and couldn’t get the Street Stocks in but got the rest in. The Crate Late Models had Matt taking the win with Tom P in 2nd and Michael in 3rd, the 13.5’s had Matt taking that one as well with George in 2nd and Tom P in 3rd, the 100 lap 12T feature was won by Tom P with Matt in 2nd and George in 3rd, the Novices had Slamming Sammy taking the win with Christopher in 2nd and Trevor in 3rd. Come on out next Sunday for the Spooky 150 for the 13.5’s and the Goblin 50 for the Novices.

We are racing today, pushing start back to 11, probably 1 qualifying round and right into mains, gonna be a quick one, fingers crossed that Mother Nature cooperates.

Looks like rain coming tomorrow afternoon, for now we are still planning on running, we will start racing at 11 instead of 12, send me a message if you’ll be there after 11 so I can get you entered for 2nd round.

4th and final Tune up for the 220 race is tomorrow, it has come down to 3 drivers, tomorrow is make or break, who will it be? Too Tall, Tom P or the real 76????? Come on out tomorrow practice at 10 racing at 12, Novice, Crate Late Models, Street Stocks, 13.5 Mudboss and 100 lap 12T Mudboss A main.

A little over 2 weeks away for the Turkey 220, 12T Mudboss's only, $25 to enter 220 lap A Main $220 to win, $100 for 2nd, $50 for 3rd and $25 paid back to rest of A main finishers, practice at 10, heats start at 11:30, November 8th.

Another great day, Novices had Jack winning with Chris in 2nd and Luke grabbing 3rd, the 90 lap 12T was won by Ryan in the Torodyne house car with Bill in 2nd and Tom P in 3rd, the 13.5's had The Groove with the win Ryan in 2nd and Too Tall in 3rd and the Street Stocks had The Groove with the win, Too Tall in 2nd and Justified in 3rd, come on out next week for the final Tune up for the 220 race, this one will be 100 laps for the 12T Muboss's.

Another great day of racing and we beat the rain, thanks to everyone who came out and stayed on the ball so we could get it in, results - Novice had Jack winning the 50 lapper with Christopher in 2nd and Slammin Sammy coming home 3rd, the 12T Mudboss's had Tom P winning with Matt in 2nd and Too Tall coming in 3rd, the Crate Late Models are gaining popularity and saw Too Tall taking the win with Matt in 2nd and Tom P in 3rd, 13.5 Mudboss's had Matt winning with Joe in 2nd and Tom P in 3rd, Street Stocks had the fastest chicken in the North winning with Justified in 2nd and Tom P podiuming once again, in 3rd. Come on out next Sunday for race #3 of the Tune up for the 220.

The tradition continues. November 1st the Spooky 150 will happen at Rushland Speedway. Featuring the 13.5s and the novice /kids race. Everyone is encouraged ...to come in Costumes. Mods will run 150 laps with a red flag battery only change at lap 75....The novice race will be 50 laps. $15 to enter the Spooky if the car count is good. Results from Sunday the 4th, Novice's saw Sammy winning the 50 lapper with Jack in 2nd and Chris in 3rd, Street Stocks had Me winning, Larry in 2nd and Jack in 3rd, the 13.5 Mudboss's had Too Tall taking the win with Matt in 2nd and Chuck in 3rd, the 12T had Too Tall taking the win, Tom P in 2nd and Matt in 3rd, and making their debut the Crate Late Models had Matt winning with Too Tall in 2nd and Tom P in 3rd. Come out this Sunday the 11th for round 2 of the Tune up for the 220, practice at 10 racing at 12.

For the races in October we will have a point series for the 12T Mudboss class, the winner at the end will have a guaranteed paid A main starting position in the Turkey 220, they will still have to attempt to qualify the day of the 220. There will be 1 drop assuming we get all 4 races in, we will also be running Novice, 13.5 Mudboss and Street Stocks, and any other class that has 3 or more cars, just no point series for these classes.

We will not be racing this Sunday September 27th, see you on October 4th.

Awesome weather and awesome racing on Sunday, thanks to everyone who came out, we had Jack taking the win in the Novices with Sammy in 2nd and Luke in 3rd, the 12T Mudboss's saw Matt winning with Curt in 2nd and John P in 3rd, Street Stocks had Willie taking the W with John P in 2nd and Justified rounding out the podium, the 13.5 Mudboss's has Willie grabbing that win as well with Ryan hot on his heels in 2nd and Matt coming home 3rd. Street Stock Showdown is in the books, The Groove took home the win with John and Too tall battling to the last corner of the last lap, after 100 laps the top 3 were on the same lap, we ran double features for the other classes, Novices had Jack, Walt and Christopher top 3 in the first and Gdub, Casey and Walt for the second, 12T had the unstoppable Tom P doubling down once again this weekend with John and Too Tall taking 2nd and 3rd in the first and Matt and Jdub taking 2nd and 3rd in the second feature, the Sprints only ran 1 feature with Tom P getting another win and John with another 2nd and Curt taking 3rd, the 13.5’s had Too Tall, John and Matt 1-2-3 in the first and Anthony, Matt and Tom P 1-2-3 for the second one. Thanks to everyone who came out and helped, especially Justified for his watering expertise.

Street Stock purse is up to $100 to the winner thanks to JW Land Services and John Morris Trucking.

It's race day, 100 lap Street Stock Showdown, Novice, 12T ,13.5 Mudboss, and Sprints. If a Traxxas Bandit can win the Showdown we will donate a new Bandit to Brian Boyce from Jersey's RC Racers, Racing Promoters and Extreme RC Events, no pressure Matt and Dan!!!

Tomorrows Street Stock Showdown will pay at least $50 to the winner, as long as we have at least 8 cars, all other classes will be ribbons only. Doors open at 10 racing at 12.

Results from 12T Shootout

12T Shootout is in the books, thanks to everyone who came out from near and far. Very special thanks to George McCauley from KHD Speedlab for matching the purse, 12T got $200, 13.5 was $100 and the Novices got $50! The Novices saw a Ian grabbing TQ and the win on a last corner pass, Luke got 2nd and Christopher came home 3rd, the 13.5's had David taking TQ with Josh taking home the $100 with George in 2nd and Ryan in 3rd, the 12T 100 lapper was taken by Josh with TQ driver David in 2nd and Matt in 3rd. Thanks for keeping the show rolling so we could be done in time.

Just a few days to go until the 12T Shootout, open gear for 12T and 13.5, 16/90 for the Novice's, $10 per car per class, 100 laps $100 to win for the 12T's, 50 laps $50 to win for the 13.5's and 25laps $25 to win for the Novice's. Trackmate transponders or I Laps blinky transponders will work as well, doors open at 10 racing by 12, depending on car count may be single round of qualifying right into mains.

August 9th - 12T Mudboss Shootout 100 laps $100 to win - 13.5 Mudboss 50 laps $50 to win - Novice Sportsman Mudboss 25 laps $25 to win. Doors open at 10 racing at 12, Salvas rules except can be any body as long as it looks like a Salvas.

We will not be racing this coming Sunday August 2nd, we will be back on the 9th.

We did double features again and the only one to sweep both was Slammin Sammy with Luke taking 2nd in both, Isla grabbed 3rd in the first and Gracie took 3rd in the 2nd, the 12T Mudboss's had Tom P, Matt and Tim in the first and Matt, Ryan and Joe in the 2nd feature, the 13.5 Mudboss's saw Matt, Tom P and Tim in the first one and Jason just barely squeaking out Tom P and Matt rounding out the top 3 in the 2nd feature. We will not be running this Sunday August 2nd, we will be back on the 9th, see you then!

We use Trackmate timing system, first photo is a Trackmate transponder, second photo is an I Laps combo transponder which will work as well, they need to be mounted on the outside of the body or have a clear view to the outside.
