It was a wonderful night. Thank you to my fellow attorneys who voted me as Top Lawyer in Estate Planning on the Main Line. As a solo, it is hard to win these awards and even more meaningful when it happens. I truly could not do it without others support. #estateplanning

I finished another 2 hour cle. This time I taught about Revocable Living Trusts and Retirement Trusts to a room full of attorneys. My highlight was when someone came up at the end to say that she heard me speak last year and that was one reason that she decided to attend.

Emory University found that the single most powerful indicator for a child's emotional resiliency is knowing their family history. This is why I like to personalize my documents to include client's stories, missions and goals. Beyond helping to ensure that the money is properly used, it can give children and grandchildren treasured family values which will make inheritances even more valuable.

This is why I love what I do. I am starting a three day estate planning conference and who is the key speaker? A woman who survived auschwitz, communist Russia and marched with MLK. She talked about her life and when confronted with Nazi youth in America she realized that she had to confront the bigot in herself. The most important 3 words we can say are tell me more . To say I am speechless, is an understatement
