Many of you have asked where our awesome receptionist Nikki has been since we reopened in June. We miss her tremendously but she has decided to pursue her in-home nail salon full time! She is totally rocking it and is basically the best around. Check her out @polishupsalon - we are all her biggest fans and you can see most of our stylists advertising her work on our hands love you, @nikki.gassert!

Happy holidays! We have had a number of questions regarding the recent announcements about new business restrictions and how they affect our daily operations. We are happy to say that they change nothing about how we have been operating. We have already been required to operate at 50% of our occupancy capacity since we re-opened in June. There are never more than 10 people at one time in our salon. We are cleaning high touch surfaces regularly throughout the day, as well as a...fter each client change. We continue to be diligent with our mask-wearing policy, client pre-screening, and hand washing. So as of now, we will not be canceling any appointments that are scheduled with us, as they are all still in compliance with the mandates we must follow. We are immensely thankful to you, our clients, for your honesty and help with keeping us all safe and operating. As sad as we are when we have cancellations due to positive tests or exposure, we are so grateful that you are being proactive because it means that we have been able to continue working and serving you. We have been encouraged that the latest data from the CDC shows that salons are very low risk and a much safer activity than initially thought. We attribute that not only to all the safety measures our industry has put in place, but also to our amazing clients who are willing to delay their appointments so that we can prevent the spread in our salons. Thank you! On that note, our schedule is changing daily due to testing and contact tracing, so if you are looking for a last minute appointment, there is a good chance we will be able to accommodate you. The small businesses in our beloved best small town were dealt another hard blow today. Right in the middle of a season that we all depend on to bring in a little extra - our feet were taken out from under us. We all want you to stay safe and be careful...but it’s still hard to watch our lifeblood slowly drained away. So please - whatever you can do to support our downtown in this time - it all helps. For now, Salonovation can continue to operate as we have. But our downtown ...restaurants and retail stores could use all the extra love you can afford. Today we celebrate our girl Marisa who passed her State Board inspection and tomorrow will open the doors to her own salon @studio11lititz !!! As the holidays approach and you consider traveling to see family, we ask you to keep in mind the timing of these trips and their affect on your appointments. Due to the new restrictions that have been put in place by the governor of PA, anyone who has travelled out of state within the 2 weeks prior to their appointment will need to have a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the salon. If you choose not to have a test, we will happily reschedule your appointment after you have completed your 2 week quarantine upon returning to PA. While we recognize the burden this can be with schedules, we are focused on doing all we can to keep our valued clients safe and healthy.
