Sapling and Sons

Thanks to every patron who's ever walked in our door, to every business that ever helped fill our shelves, to every amazing employee that's ever worked here, and to every business on this street that made us feel so welcome. This chapter was short, but oh so sweet. Thank you.

TODAY IS OUR LAST DAY! we'll be open until 6pm today selling all the last of our goods. please stop by and help us clean this joint out!!! we'll be in and out next week cleaning and will have the door open while we pack it up. if you catch us, still feel free to pick something up or just stop and say hey.

This news is bittersweet, but after almost 2 years since opening Sapling & Sons, I've decided to close the store effective as of July 23rd. I've loved every bit of my venture into retail, but within the past year I've had less and less time to dedicate to it, and that's not enjoyable to me. As some of you may know, I have another business, Sapling Press, and over the past year that business has grown and continues to need more and more of my attentiona great problem to have.... I didn't open S&S just so i could check in every once and awhile. I opened it so that I could be an active part of the community & grow my business there, and I don't like feeling so removed from something I started. It's not my style. If you've ever walked into that shop to purchase something or just say hi, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Maybe the store will pop up as another version of itself one day, but for now, we'll be closing up and taking our leave. Until then, everything in the store will be 50% until closing day, Saturday July 23rd. After the shop clears out a bit, we'll be selling off some of the fixtures which I'll post here with pics and prices. I need to give an extra special shoutout to Kelly, Melissa, Ashley, Maria, Cindy, and Missy for all your help since we opened. You ran the show and treated the store like it was your own. So lucky to have met and worked with such amazing ladies and I will be forever grateful. Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH for having us. I'm sad to go, but excited for future opportunities at the print shop, and to spend my time in Beaver as a loyal patron!
