This week we played, painted, hiked and had fun at the VBS time as we watched the rainy days go by as well as the heat waves while we had a good time at #SummerDayCamp #hereforgood

Through arts we express emotions, ideas and feelings that come from our genuine self. It is good to have this fun and vital element as part of our programs for the children in Reading. #hereforgood #summerdaycamp

The Salvation Army Summer Day Camp Program provides a safe and fun environment for many children here in Reading. It’s amazing to see their enthusiasm and joy in every activity they do. Thanks to all the contributions for this program to become a reality.

Today to pay back for all I have in my life I took 1/2 hour to read to the kids in the Summer Camp at the Salvation Army. It's a great book that teaches them ab...out finances called Danny Dollar Millionaire Extraordinaire. Thanks to Visions Credit Union for sponsoring the program and Women 2 Women for inviting me to read to them all summer. So many kids you can barely see me in middle. Hoy, para pagar todo lo bueno que tengo en mi vida, me tomé media hora para leerles a los niños en el Campamento de Verano del Salvation Army. Es un gran libro que les enseña sobre finanzas llamado Danny Dollar Millionaire Extraordinaire. Gracias a Visions Credit Union por patrocinar el programa y Women 2 Women por invitarme a leerles todo el verano. Tantos niños que apenas puedes verme en el medio.

We welcome Cadets Sean and Caitlyn Bohanan to Reading PA; they are coming to serve with us for their Summer Assignment internship. The Bohanan Family currently studies at the College for Officers Traning in Suffern, NY, and will be ordained as a Salvation Army Pastors/Officers in 2022. Please keep the Cadets in prayer as they will submerge in this rewarding time with us! We are very excited to have you aboard our team this season.
