Hello everyone! We're excited to start our new season of Saturday Science off tomorrow morning from 9am-12pm in the Natural Sciences Center at Susquehanna University! Tomorrow we'll be starting a two week exploration of biomolecules! We hope to see you there!
Good morning scientists! We hope to see you this morning at our final session of the semester! At this meeting we will continue to explore the science of the moon and other satellites. We’ll talk about exploration and will consider such questions as: robotic rover design, habitability of different moons, habitat design, and problems with communication across great distances. We will explore these and other questions about living thing things. See you soon!

Attention Saturday Scientists! We're coming up on our next session where we'll be studying the physics of our moon and other satellites! Some of the topics we'll cover include: - Kepler's laws and angular momentum... - Diluting gravity - Crater impacts - Tidal forces - Mass, weight, and apparent weight - Lunar lander design challenge We hope to see you this weekend!
Another reminder that we will be launching tomorrow (Sat. Oct. 5) morning at the baseball field in Freeburg starting at 9:30 a.m. See you there!
The model rocket launch will take place this Saturday, Oct. 05 at the baseball field in Freeburg. There is parking across the street at the fairgrounds. Please plan to arrive by 9:30 a.m. to prep for your first launch. Hopefully, any fog will have cleared by then. Please inspect your rocket in advance and make sure it appears stable. See you there!
This morning our Saturday Science students learned about rockets, forces, and motion and even built their own rockets to launch next week!
