Every so often (it’s actually much more frequently) we receive requests to design some interesting logos. These requests usually come from friends, but almost ALWAYS contain some sort of adult content. I guess it takes one (dirty mind) to know one (dirty mind). Some of these logos are NSFW and some are not even safe for FB, but this latest one is just funny. It is our pleasure to introduce the world to the DILFS (a male softball team). Most designers won't admit this, but the thought of a new logo project creates a natural high. Your head literally buzzes with ideas and inspiration... In the shower, in the car, while trying to fall asleep. In some cases the high lasts for weeks, for others the high only lasts for a few seconds... right up until the point when the client tells you the ridiculously long company name. Over the years we have been blessed with some VERY long names. Who can forget the 33 charact...er "Tending To Tails Pet Care Specialists" or the monstrous 41 character "Ron Spagnoletti Memorial Horseshoe Tournament"? Needless to say the 30 character "Jeepers Sweepers Cleaning Services" was pretty sobering. As the best designers do, we made the most out of the situation and in the end we delivered a CLEAN (pun intended) logo design.
