Sayre American Legion Post 283

It is my sad duty to report that on January 8 the American Legion family lost one of our faithful friends and strongest supporters' Lori " Cheese ball" Robinson. Lori loved Veterans and was always there not just with words but by her actions. At every event we could count on her support. She will be missed by everyone at Post 283. In her memory we will be donating $500 to the Nancy Quatrinni fund at Guthrie. RIP Cheeseball. Per Govenor Wolf our Post at Sayre American Legion is open as of January 4th 2021. All restrictions prior, to this date are still in affect, ( mask wearing, seated at a table ordering a meal ect..)

Due to Covid restrictions imposed by Gov. Wolf and meetings being limited to 10 people, the regularly scheduled meetings (Reg. and H.A.) are postponed till January. Per Govenor Wolf and the new Pennsylvania regulations on COVID-19 our club at Sayre American Legion will be closed at 12:01am Saturday 12/12 thru Monday January 4th at 8:00am. Thank you for understanding and stay safe

The Sayre American Legion will close at 6pm this Thanksgiving night. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Per Govenor Wolf all Bars and Restaurants are not permitted to serve beer and alcohol between 5pm Wednesday 11/25 thru Thursday 11/26 at 8am. Therefore the Sayre American Legion will close at 5pm. We will be opening at 9am Thanksgiving Day.
