This week, we bid farewell to the biggest supporter of Schultz Electric. Doug Pap Schultz, father of our owner Steve Schultz, went to glory Tuesday, 12-22-2020 at the age of 87. At 87, Pap was still coming into the office every day, analyzing job costs, payroll, and overhead. He was a pivotal piece of our puzzle that we will miss dearly. We will miss his daily good mornings, walks along the creek, stories and history lessons for sure. Our team of employees send their he...artfelt condolences to the Schultz Family at this time. May Doug’s(Pap’s) memory, forever be eternal.

We’d like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. So that our employees can spend time with their loved ones, our office will be closed tomorrow and Friday. Have no fear, our phones will still be answered for any and all emergency calls.

This month we are going to get personal. We’d like to introduce you to the people that make Schultz Electric run. What better employee to start with than our Office Dog Rocco?!?! Rocco comes to work almost 5 days a week. First thing he likes to do in the morning is make his rounds for treats. Then, it’s a drink of water, and about a 2 hour nap. Other employees are jealous of Rocco, he doesn’t have a lot of responsibility. In fact, his only responsibility is to greet delivery drivers. Outside of work, Rocco enjoys the sweet life at home with Mr. and Mrs. Schultz. He can usually be found stretched out under the biggest ray of sun or dragging Mr. Schultz around the neighborhood on a walk. It’s our honor to have Rocco in the office and a bigger honor to introduce him to all of you!

It is always an honor to be able to attend the 9/11 Memorial hosted by South Strabane Township Police Department. 19 years have passed, but the pain and sorrow remain fresh. Today we honor all of those who died 19 years ago, as well as, those who continue to live with complications from that day. May we all come together, united, to remember the people and more importantly the rise and resilience of America, 19 years ago. May God Bless you all.
