Schuylkill Haven Area Middle School

School lunch is available for middle school students for 12/10 (Thursday) and 12/11 (Friday). Meals for both days will be distributed outside of the high school cafeteria tomorrow (12/11) between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM. If you would like meals for your child, please complete the google form by 12:00 PM today on the district website at http://www.shasd.org .

Good afternoon Schuylkill Haven Area Middle School families. We learned today that a 7th grade student has tested positive for COVID-19. After the completion of contact tracing, the positive case led to several student and staff quarantines. After carefully considering how to proceed with student education, the decision has been made to complete the week with full virtual learning for students in grades 5 through 7. Middle school students will then return to school on 12/14/2020 in a hybrid model until the holiday break (12/23/2020). Specifics on the hybrid schedule and other important information will be communicated later this week. It is our goal to continue to provide a safe environment for our students and staff during the pandemic. We thank you for your continued cooperation and understanding.

SHAMS PinkOut!!

Students were given the fall fundraiser packet today in school. All orders are completed online, packets are not returned to the middle school. Unlike years past, all orders will be delivered directly to the home. Extra forms are available in the main office should any virtual students want to take advantage.

Wednesday, October 21st PinkOut Day! * Please note that if you are getting picture retakes in Wednesday but would like to participate in the PinkOut event, please wear your pink on Thursday.
