As a teenager, Frida was severly injured in a bus accident that left her in a full body cast. She spent months in bed, allowing her body and bones to heal. To pass the time, she began painting. At first, on her cast. And then eventually on canvas. Her father made her an easel that would rest on her legs so that she could paint in bed. Today our one of our Pre-k classrooms got to paint their cast and feel see what it feels like to paint while laying down.
