This year our SEANstrong Broad Street shirts will be dedicated in loving memory of Dennis McDaniels. Dennis went out of his way to do nice things for my family after Sean died including making sure the kids went to the firehouse to see Santa the first year and having presents for them. Dennis would have football catches with little Sean every time he saw him, he golfed in Sean's tournament every year winning it in 2018, and with only a day's notice, in the 2018 run, he made ...enormous SEANstrong signs (as a surprise) and held them at the firehouse on Broad Street and made sure the signs made it to the after-party. I will never forget that moment seeing Dennis at the firehouse not knowing he'd be there. Dennis was one of a kind, I am forever grateful for all he has done, and this year our shirts are dedicated to him. My heart goes out to MaryEllen McDaniels who lost the love of her life and is now a young widow with 4 young boys. No one should have to endure that pain. Mare will run Broad Street with us this year for her 5th year running SEANstrong. WE will all run for Dennis BECAUSE WE CAN. LIFE IS SHORT...LIFE CONTINUES...LOVE HARD!
