From the NPS The park is open to the public. All roads, trails and parking areas are open. However, all buildings are closed. This includes the Visitor Center, ...the Eisenhower Farm, the David Wills Houae, and all of the bathrooms. The park is working to get port-a-potties in place. The McMillan Woods Campground and the Bushman House are closed through April 27th. All Special Use Permits issued through that date have been cancelled, and no new ones will be issued through that date. This date could be extended depending on the pandemic situation. Commercial operations in the park have been suspended until further notice. It looks like the prescribed burn will not happen this year. While the majority of park staff are teleworking or on leave, the law enforcement rangers are working their normal schedule and enforcing all regulations. Just because your dog cannot catch COVID-19, doesn’t mean it’s okay to let them run around off leash. By all means, come out and enjoy the park if you are so inclined. But remember that the park encompasses 6000 acres and it is possible to spread yourselves out instead of all congregating in Devil’s Den, as I observed today. Social distancing will work if we follow through on it...

Due to COVID-19 and the corresponding PA state restrictions, we are not offering tours and rides at this time. We ARE taking reservations for future tours. We will continue to monitor the situation, and we look forward to a return to gliding as soon as it is safe to do so.
