If I could make a garment a day I would be the happiest person ever but life has these things called responsibilities.

Sometimes being able to sew isn't about making something from scratch but refashioning something you already own. My mom bought this while on her many shopping sprees at Ross lol and because of Covid she couldn't try it on. After trying it on she didn't like the fit and thought it would fit me better uh no mom but I did see potential in this thing and now I have a beautiful top. I bet she wants it back now lol #SewingWithJirah #CreatingWithJirah #ILoveWhatIDo

This Winter Sewing With Jirah will only be offering One-on-One Private Lessons. The last day to sign up for October's classes is Friday, October 2, 2020. Pajama Pants Class was a success! It was a pleasure teaching these two! I know for sure that they'll take all that they've learned and apply it. #SewingWithJirah #CreatingWithJirah

They came once a week for 3 weeks and accomplished their goal of learning how to make Pajama Pants! #SewingWithJirah #CreatingWithJirah Some people will think that they're just making a garment but in all honesty they're learning some of the fundamentals of sewing. With these pajama pants they learned how to hem, how to insert elastic, how to sew/finish a seam. They can now take that knowledge and apply it to other things that they'll create. For instance, if they have a pair of pants that are too long and need hemming they now know how.
