Just a reminder to drive by the corner of Pioneer Ave and Center St in Shavertown. Our Live Nativity may be smaller this year but it still offers a reminder of the miracle of a baby born so long ago. We hope this gift helps lift your spirits and renews the joy of the Christmas gift we were all given.

YOUTH GROUP FALL KICK-OFF WAS GREAT!!! We had 17 youth get together at Dymonds for a hay ride, a fire to roast hot dogs and make s’mores. We were blessed with a beautiful day filled with friends and fun. We played some games, sang a few songs with some surprising twists, and met some new friends. Here is just one photo of the group.

All youth in grades 6 - 12 are invited to join us for the SUMC Youth Group Fall Kick-Off Event on October 17th.

Step by Step Praise Band is back!! The Shavertown United Methodist Church Step by Step Praise Band invites you to join us on Monday, October 12th at 7:00 PM. We will be practicing social distancing and ask that you please wear a mask. Following our service, we will serve refreshements, masked and gloved. We continue to pray for the Lord’s guidance and strength, as HE will see us through. God is good. All the time.
