In the Hadith Prophet Muhammad states: Whenever a [group] of people gather in the house of Allah to read the Qurn and to study it among themselves they are surrounded by Angels and mercy descends upon them and they are mentioned [by name] by Allah to [a celestial audience]. Narrated by Abu Hurairah.

Allah, Most High, states: (Verily, this Qurn shows the way to all that is upright, and gives the believers who do good deeds glad tidings that theirs will be a great reward; and [announces too] that We have readied grievous suffering for those who will not believe in the life to come). [17:9/10]
