PA Dot rescheduled the traffic switch completion on Route 851 from Mount Airy Road to Wolfe Road until Wednesday, January 6th due to wet conditions. Route 851 will be a single lane on Wednesday, January 6th from 9AM to 3PM. The contractor will paint lines and adjust traffic signals so traffic can be switched from the south side of the road to the newly constructed north side of the road. Please be aware of workers and obey all traffic signs and flaggers. Please drive safely! The work is in conjunction with the Exit 4 Diverging Diamond Project.

Route 851 will be single lane with flaggers on Monday, December 21st and Tuesday, December 22nd from 9AM to 3PM with weather permitting. The contractor will paint lines, adjust traffic signals and set temporary barrier so traffic can be switched to the northside of Route 851. Please obey work zone signs, flaggers, and drive slowly and safely through the work zone.

Please understand the crews are not done plowing until the storm is completely finished and the snow is plowed curb to curb. The Exit 4 Project Box Culvert will be set on Wednesday, October 28th (65 feet long and 45 feet deep). The Box Culvert is for Deer Creek to flow underneath the Interstate. Guardrail was installed on all portions of the project. The Tom's Convenience Store entrances/exits will be relocated to the signal light at Wolfe Road after Kinsley constructs an access and PA Dot approves a Traffic Plan.

East Tolna Road will be closed from South Main Street to Crosswind Drive on Monday, October 19th and Tuesday, October 20th from 7AM to 5PM for paving and preparation work. The road was originally planned for closure on Tuesday only but problems occurred with a manhole next to Mill Lane.

Essex Circle Drive, today is finally the day!

Nighttime Lane Closure for Interstate 83 at Exit 4 in construction area. PA Dot is reporting that the right lane of northbound Interstate 83 lane closure from Monday, October 19th at 7PM to Tuesday, October 20th at 5AM with weather permitting. The work includes: line eradication, line painting and moving concrete barriers so traffic can be shifted to the new reconstructed side. The section averages over 44,300 vehicles per day. Please be aware of traffic changes, work zones and use caution when driving through work zones!

West Forrest Avenue will be paved from Kratz Road to the Borough/Township line on Tuesday, October 13th. Please remove cars from West Forrest Avenue. Southern School District has been notified and bus stops will remain the same. Trash pickup on West Forrest Avenue will be early. Please have trash to curb by 6AM. There will be a detour from Morgan Drive, Bridle Road, and Kratz Road. Please drive safely around the road construction and thanks for your cooperation!

The water/sewer/trash bills have been mailed and many of us received on Saturday. The due date is November 20th. Please contact us if you have any issues with delivery or questions about your bill. Payment can be mailed or there is a mailbox next to the front door and flagpole at 35 West Railroad Avenue.
