Simpson Recreation Center has been thankful for the WaWa Hometown Helpers. On three occasions this Fall they worked on several projects; including: painting, gardening, cleaning up the softball field and lining the outside basketball court. Thank you WaWa Hometown Helpers!

As we reflect on all our fun times at Summer Camp we would like a big shout out to @Michael Gibson from the "6th Man Project" for donating basketballs to our program!
The mummies were having fun.
Today we stopped in Cairo, Egypt to get our passports stamped! We turned some campers and hotdogs into mummies and made some sand clay.
Mr. Jeff reminded the campers to get outside and move around for at least 60 minutes every day.
Thank you Mr. Jeff for giving our campers a chance to show off with a little competition!
Today the campers stamped their passports from Mexico. Each group made sombreros and then finished the day with tacos! Muy bien!

This week we are going around the world at Simpson. Blue group made passports to begin our travels, the campers first stamp was in Peru. The Green group went to Italy and they made pizza.

"Rain, Rain, Go Away, come again another day!" Both the blue group and the green group are currently having fun watching movies and painting snakes. Simpson's first week of Summer Camp was a success! See everyone next week!
Our first week of Summer Camp is going great! Our sprinklers have been keeping us nice and cool! Remember: Playground is reserved for camp from 10AM - 2PM (M-F) Sprayground is reserved for camp from 11AM - 1PM (M-F)

Good Morning! For this "Meet the Staff Monday" we are introducing our new ARL Mr. Marvin! His favorite hobbies are hiking and biking. His favorite sport is basketball (He played overseas in professional leagues!) and his favorite food is baked mac and cheese! Congrats Marvin and welcome to the team!
