We’re happy to help promote the Sealed Bid Auction of this extremely cool piece of Chesapeake maritime history to benefit the Richardson Maritime Museum. Built ...in 1951 by Bronza Parks, the Lee Sar is in remarkably good shape for her age, she measures 46’ in length and is powered by a pair of Perkins Pancake diesels. A Very nice and hard to find sea stairs has arrived at Skippers Marine! Used (8) step Marquipt style boarding stairs. The manufacturer of these stairs is unknown. They were custom made for Benetti Yachts and are only embossed with this yacht builders logo. I have checked with all of the known boarding stairs manufacturers and none have stated that they are the manufacturer. The handles are from an Italian manufacturer and the fasteners are metric. Since Benetti is an Italian ...based builder, it is possible that they were manufactured by a European company. These are very well built, first quality stairs. The framework is anodized aluminum with stainless steel hardware and teak stair treads. As pictured, the stairs are approximately 72" tall from the dock to the top step and are 21" overall in width. The steps are 18 3/4" wide by 8 1/2" deep. When these stairs are folded flat for stowing, they measure 84" overall in length, 21" wide and 4" thick. The mounting point is 18" on center and utilize the common pin style brackets such as Marquipt. Please note that these boat side mounting brackets are NOT included. There are (2) folding and removable stainless steel hand rails included. There are (4) stainless steel casters with gray non marking wheels which are in excellent condition. These stairs have seen very little use and have no damage. There are some minor cosmetic scratches to the frame from typical use. Realistically priced at $2,950.00 which is thousands less than replacement cost. See more

This is why it is important to check ALL hoses on your boat. Even the ones you can’t see. This is a vent hose connection located under the floor of a Sea Ray Sorrento. Fortunately this is on a boat being salvaged and will never see water again. But there are a lot of boats like this still being enjoyed. Check your hoses!
