As we leave 2020 behind, we reflect on the many caring people who have brought blessings to us amidst the darkness of the year. To those of you who donated to us, who volunteered time and talent, who blessed us and our families in any way this year, we cannot thank you enough. May 2021 be a year full of light and newness of hope, and may we find new ways to love those around us as we enter this new year together. Blessings to you!

Weekend Supervisor - House Manager (Overnight shift) Looking for a part-time job that you can complete on the weekend? St Mary’s Franciscan Shelter for homeless families is seeking a part-time house manager to oversee the operation of the shelter from 12:00 (noon) Sunday til 9:00am Monday.... Person on duty has a private room and is permitted to sleep after closing the shelter (11:00 PM). They are expected to be available by 6:00 to set up breakfast and oversee residents’ needs. Staff person is on-call should an emergency occur during the night. Daytime hours include supervision, light housekeeping and receptionist duties. Some of our intrepid staff were up at all hours of the morning making sure St. Mary's wasn't snowbound. Thanks to their hard work, we are up and running! Wishing you all a warm and safe Thursday!

We pause one last time to say a big THANK YOU to these local businesses who donated their time and their delicious products to our annual BBQ and Brews event last year! (Due to the Pandemic, this event has been cancelled for 2020 but we plan to bring it back in full force in 2021.)
