Everyone at Smith Fabrications would like to send a huge congratulations to Tanner VanDoren and his father Jason VanDoren for their extraordinary first year racing in the highly competitive Crate 602 Sportsman division. In his Rookie year driving against some of the best in the business in that division he not only won the Crate 602 championship at the Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown NY, he also won a feature at Georgetown Speedway in Brett Deyos STSS series and pro...ceeded to cap off his banner year with the win in the 50 lap Crate 602 Sportsman feature during the ever famous Easter States Weekend at OCFS. Not to toot our own horn here at Smith Fabrications but it was only last year the same TVD was wheeling our house car to a championship in the highly competitive Stage One Modified division at Hamlin Speedway. Driving the Stage One Modified seems to have helped make the transition to the big car much easier. The Stage Ones handle and react very similar to big Modifieds on the track today. Again we would like to congratulate TVD and JVD on a stellar season and we only see great things in the future for this past Stage One champion. See more

The Stage One Tour Race will now be next Saturday, October 3rd at Shellhammer’s.

The last tour race for the stage ones is gonna be moved from last sat night of oct to a wed night oct 21 opening the schedule up on the sat night for a stage one race somewhere else with details coming from richie . Thank you and hope to see everyone there.

With the cancellation of the races at Shellhammers today our part of the Reading Fair Nationals will now be run on Saturday August 15. This will coincide with the Jimbos Gutters your race at Shellhammers. Hamlin is closed that night so a good field of cars are expected.
