New York Strip Steak for take-out at Wister’s Barbecue. Available Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 PM until we run out. A 14 to 16 ounce USDA Choice Angus New York Strip infused with a little bit of garlic and rosemary, grilled on our charbroiler to a perfect medium rare (pink, no blood). Served with Portobello Demi-Glace and your choice of two sides mmmmm, smashed potatoes.... Everything is lovingly packaged so you can plate it up and feast at home. We’re stepping ...a little out of our wheelhouse here, so we can’t fulfill special requests for doneness. I kinda feel we’re in a better spot if we can deliver exactly what we offer, perfectly every time, rather than miss on special requests. I don’t have the ability to limit availability on our ordering page, but we are only offering these Friday through Sunday after 4:00 PM. Thanksgiving Turkeys at Wister’s Barbecue!!!! We take 12 to 14 pound, minimally processed fresh turkeys and give them a two day swim in our herbaceous honey brine. Then out of the pool, a quick rinse and overnight nekkid in the walk-in. That lets the skin dry a bit so the skin picks up the smoke better. Every turkey comes with a pint of gravy. We also have lots of options for sides and desserts so you can get exactly what you need to satisfy your gang. I realize that be...cause of, let’s just say 2020 and leave it at that, lots of folks will be having smaller gatherings and a whole turkey may be a bit much. Well, we will also have honey-brined smoked turkey breast available by the pound, swimming in gravy to keep it moist. And if you’re solo, we will have the Thanksgiving Dinner for One. Sliced Turkey Breast in Gravy, Herb Stuffing, Smashed Potatoes, Collard Greens, Roasted Root Veggies, Cranberry and you’re choice of dessert. If turkey isn’t your thing, or you want an additional option, we will also have our delicious Holiday Ham available by the pound. Juicy, delicious and finished with our rib glaze. As we have done in past years, we will have a limited number of hot turkeys available for pick up on Thanksgiving Day. We will not be delivering. Pick-ups are between 10:00 and 2:00. However, our ordering system won’t allow me to restrict the hours for one particular day. So, just because the machine will let you order for 6:00 PM pick up, does not mean we will be here. If you are taking your bird on a trip or eating much later, it might be a good idea to order a cold turkey for pick-up on Thanksgiving or earlier. Please pay careful attention here! We are only accepting orders through our website at wistersbbq.com. Click on the ORDER tab. Schedule when you want to pick up. You’re looking at our regular menu. What the heck is it?? Over a pound of four different kinds of meat, four different cheeses and some pickled red onion so you can pretend that you had your veggies We start with our 10 oz.
