Coronavirus Update Effective Thursday 3/19/2020 As per current CDC recommendation to delay non-emergency medical care, Sosar Physical Therapy will be suspending operations in all of our offices until further notice.... We are encouraging everyone to follow guidelines and shelter in place. A member of your care team will be calling you directly to discuss your home program, potentially including telehealth options. If you have any questions, please call 1-844-SOSARPT and leave a voice mail. We will be screening messages and returning calls daily. Stay safe and we will be in touch regarding rescheduling. Coronavirus COVID-19 Update March 17, 2020 At this time, Sosar Physical Therapy will remain open for essential physical rehabilitation services.... As per CDC and WHO recommendations, we have updated our policies as follows: All staff and patients are being screened daily for illness/fever. Staff and patients who are ill will remain at home for 14 days. Staff and patients who have travelled, international and domestically, will remain at home for 14 days. Patients over 65 and those who are immunosuppressed are advised to remain at home for 14 days. Patients who are voluntarily holding treatment will be placed into scheduling queue for return at their discretion with no cancellation penalty. Wellness program has been suspended for 30 days, with refund or free extension offered. Scheduling will be adjusted to significantly limit group size and to allow for extra facility cleaning. All patients are being counseled by their provider for prioritization of care (treatment frequency, home program, telehealth options, etc.). Patient education resources have been made available via hard and digital copy. Staff has been trained on cleaning procedures before, during and after treatment sessions. Facilities have been stocked with extra hand and equipment cleaning supplies. The safety of our patients and staff is our number one priority.
