February 9 - April 29, 2021 Tuesday and Thursdays - 12:30 -2:00 pm Tuesday and Thursdays - 6:00 -7:30 pm LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a FREE 12-week wellness program that builds strength and confidence for adult cancer survivors. It’s conducted in a small group environment that includes individualized attention for each participant. Adult survivors are eligible to join the program during all stages of recovery. This program also serves and embraces the families and caregivers that have been affected by the disease through a free family membership throughout the course of the program. Just Kickin' It! Are you ready for some Indoor Soccer? The Youth Indoor Soccer program returns here at the branch! Ages 8-10. Saturdays, 2/20/2021 - 3/27/2021... Times: Ages 4-5 at 9 am, 6-8 at 10 am and 9-11 at 11 am. Price: Members - $45 Guests - $90 In an instructional & recreational setting, each youth will gain skill enhancement through practices and games. The Y is more than a gym and now is another chance to prove it. Starting 12/12/2020, in compliance with the Governor’s orders, we will be making the following ...changes to our services. - All of our gyms, pools, and fitness centers will be closed - Our aquatics, youth sports, and other relevant programs will be paused or altered to adhere to health and safety guidelines - All in-person programs, such as chronic disease prevention and youth development, are postponed, being restructured, or transitioning to virtual formats - All in-person events, such as Kids Night Out, are postponed, being restructured, or transitioning to virtual formats But we’re still here for the community and need you to stay with us. With you on our team, we’re still able to keep kiddos learning and safe in our childcare, now EduCare make sure newcomers to the area make it in their new homes feed and clothe families in southern York County with Southern Community Services give families in York City meals during times of need house over 100 formerly homeless men in our Men’s Residence offer virtual support to people experiencing chronic diseases provide virtual wellness services to all, members or otherwise, free of charge A piece of our members’ dues and donations make sure that this work and more is in our community. We’re asking that all of our members, volunteers, donors, and friends in the community stay with us the best that they can. We know that these times are pushing us all to the limit so we ask that everyone in our Y family first take care of themselves and their loved ones, but, if able, continue to be there for all the people served at the YMCA by referring anyone in need to our services.
