Well, we’re back! In person, socially distanced classes resumed this weekend. Feel free to check us out Monday evenings and Saturday mornings to see if we’re right for you.

Congratulations to Chris, Sarah, and Mandy Abboud for earning their orange belts! They did a great job with the other candidates for promotion in last night’s Special Testing. We look forward to many more years of training with them.

We had a great class this past Saturday. We learned a lot, improved our fitness, and had fun. Congratulations to the Klemms on earning their first stripe!

Thanks to Jon Marmon for bringing us a traditional Japanese New Year Kagami Biraki ceremony, breaking the ornamental mochi for good luck.

We had a great end to 2019 at our 12/30 class, polishing up our techniques and then testing them on a piñata! And thanks to the Walters family for bringing the dojo family together at their home on New Year’s Eve. We are planning great things for 2020! Happy New Year to all.

Congratulations to David Rubin, who did an excellent job of representing Springfield Martial Arts and Kokoro Kai at the Bucks County Winter Martial Arts Championship yesterday. And belated congratulations to David and fellow students Bob and Harrison Karsch, Artie and Jacqueline Walters, and Tano Quigley for their recent promotions! If today you do what no one else will, tomorrow you’ll do what no one else can!
