Our final pizza winners for the month of November. ALL the kids made it to the 100% Free Pizza Friday wheel several times! Pius has hard working students!

Sixth grade students concluded their first Novel Study. The Devil’s Arithmetic is a historical fiction book about a Jewish girl who lives in New York and is transported in time to experience the Holocaust. She is sent to a concentration camp and learns the importance of remembering the past. Sixth graders took time today to reflect upon and remember the events of the Holocaust.

Throughout the month of November, each 100% earns you a spot on the Free Pizza Friday wheel. A way to show thanks to my students for their hard work and dedication! Our first winner was Angelina Welde! This week is Caroline Osmian

A LESSON IN DEMOCRACY SPX middle school students have been studying the voting process. They have learned about the candidates, the role of the electoral college, and the importance of each and every vote. Today students had the opportunity to cast their own votes for president of the United States! Sr. Kate stopped by and submitted her ballot too! The votes are still being tallied and a winner will be announced this week!

At today's school mass, we celebrated the installation of our 8th Grade Student Ministry Officers along with their respective class Ministry Representatives. Congratulations and may God bless you as you serve your fellow students!
