We wanted to let you know that NDS will be distributing FREE Farmers to Families Food boxes THIS SATURDAY, October 17th at our office building (222 North 17th Street). The boxes contain 22 lbs of meat, dairy, and FRESH produce! All families are welcome - please share with your friends and family members.... Our 5 day student meal kits will also be available for students who are not receiving school meals.

Our neighbor, Floraltology llc, (and family of one of our students), is hosting a floral display to encourage everyone to vote! The display starts tomorrow (Wednesday) at noon and goes through Friday. Volunteers will be on site to answer any voting questions.

This Sunday, September 27th from 1pm-3pm, St. Joseph's University is offering a health clinic here in our school cafeteria. Health insurance is NOT required. Services include:... -Health screening -Flu shots -Vision and dental screenings -Prenatal education -Legal, financial and immigration counseling Spanish-speaking providers will be present. Please spread the word to your friends and family!

We are off and running! The first week of school is in the books. So grateful for teachers and families who have made this change to virtual learning smooth so far!... Students continue to experience rigorous instruction grounded in our Catholic values. We are building a strong community even from a distance!

As we embark on virtual learning, here are some great tips on setting up your child for success at home! The last piece of advice may be most important: "Give yourself a break.... This isn’t easy. Not everyday will go smoothly. It’s really tough that’s part of the advice, says Filucci. There will be distractions, and as a parent, you have to give yourself a little leeway, to understand that we’re all just doing our best."
