With the Advent fast coming up soon, we should begin thinking about ways we can support the Church in all that she does to help those in need, both here and all around the world.

Just like any relationship, the spiritual bond between a godparent and his or her godchild must be nurtured.

Many young people will claim it is their individual right to use their bodies to make fashion and/or personality statements with ink and metal. But our bodies are not our own.

To the Orthodox Christian, prayer is everything. But our world is noisy and distracting. We forget to pray, and soon find ourselves drifting further and further away from God...

Are Heaven and Hell simply physical places we travel to after our death? Or is there a deeper truth to eternity that Western Christianity tends to overlook?

When Orthodox Christians pray and worship together, when we participate in the Sacraments together, we express a unity in faith that already exists. Thus, the Eucharist is not the cause of our unity, but its fruit.
