We will continue having all our Sunday 10:15 am services. Worship is inside, parking lot, Facebook and UberConference (phone). Call office 610-488-1783 for us to call you to listen to any worship service. It is great for using homes and home bound without internet.... 9:00 am Sunday School will continue with children in Social Hall, Catechetical Class upstairs in Education Building, Adults in Multi-Purpose and Main Office. St. Michael’s, while remaining ‘open’, is doing so with high regard for the welfare of our community and those who gather in our facilities. Thank you for respecting our social distancing and masking practices while indoors: at worship on Sundays and while visiting in the church office and attending meetings during the week. Please reassure others who may be anxious about gathering in-person that we are committed to maintaining an environment which observes the best-practices and recommendations of our public health officials. We continue to provide services on the parking lot, inside AND online, via Facebook and phone (UberConference), and YouTube for worship and other parish functions. Please Continue to Practice the 3 ‘Big Ws’ -Watch your distance ~ maintain a distance of 6’ from other people. -Wear a mask ~ when you are in public places among other people, for the sake of others and yourself. -Wash your hands often, with soap and water ~ especially after physical contact, before eating, and after using the restroom. -And please remember... if you are not feeling well or have any flu-like symptoms, remain at home, remain hydrated, and participate in parish events remotely.

Nevermind COVID, we've all tested positive for sin and the mortality rate is 100%. The antidote is both free and readily available and the side effects are all ...positive. Repentence is often a bitter pill to swallow, but it renews and restores every fiber of our being, and it is wonderfully addictive. As I think about Sunday's gospel text I am reminded that discipleship, following Jesus, must include some sort of loss. Simon and Andrew had to drop their nets.... James and John left good old dad Zebedee in the boat. When we follow Jesus it means leaving something behind. To call Jesus Lord is to give him a place not given to other things demanding our obedience and homage. What have you dropped to follow Jesus? Bazaar, Basket Raffle & Food To Go Fri., Nov. 13 from 4 to 8 pm Sat., Nov. 14 from 8 am to 12 pm 529 St. Michael's Rd. Hamburg, PA... Please wear a mask and expect that a limited number of people will be allowed in the buildings at a time. Pick up your pre-ordered pies and cookies in the multi-purpose room of the Sunday School building. There will be signs directing you where to go. Additional cookies are available! Pick up your pre-ordered soup and purchase raffle tickets in the social hall (where the bazaar is traditionally held). Enter the social hall at the main double doors.
