Day 4 follow late spring into summer . Travels would take me as far as WV and many many days outdoors in Allegheny National Forest .

Day 3 of a year in images review . I’ve learned to appreciate spring a bit more . I’m normally so anxious for summer’s warmer weather and sunshine , that spring seems more like winter’s warmer brother, rather than a preview of things to come . This year I spent more time exploring , hiking and continued to travel to places near by that I haven’t or recently just discovered. Here are some images from spring Warren County, Pennsylvania , Cooks Forest , Jamestown NY , Benezette & Kinzua Bridge State Park .

I'm not looking forward to our first taste of winter that's in our forecast . I would rather think about warm , colorful days filled with beautiful sights and sounds .

I’m not sure what draws me to bridges . Maybe it’s how uniform or symmetrical they are , or their ability to weather time and handle decades of wear and tear . I’m not sure what it is ... but here’s some of my favorite shots of bridges .
