** COVID UPDATE - ANNOUNCEMENT ** We understand that many of you are curious about the upcoming 2021 Super Billiards Expo. As we all know, the news and local regulations change often. This makes planning a large event such as this quite problematic. As Covid continues its course, we are remaining optimistic about the upcoming show. Of course, the safety of all attendees is paramount - but we must also adhere to local regulations, which change often.... That said, we do have plans to help keep the show safer for all attendees. Since we are all living with this in our daily lives, we feel as though everyone will already be familiar with any necessary steps and we can all have a good time while being responsible as well. We all may not enjoy these extra steps, but we're all aware of why they are needed. Ultimately, we are at the whim of local regulations at this moment. Thankfully the vaccine is being distributed and overly cautious actions are being eased. We're confident that these things will pave the way for us to re-open the doors and have another great show! Even if it may be a little different this year... Our plan is to make a final decision in the coming weeks. Like you, we're keeping our eyes on the news daily. We are trying to wait as long as possible to see how things are progressing, but we realize everyone needs to plan ahead for travel and such. To that end, we will post a new message here on Feb 15 - a full 60 days before doors are scheduled to open. At that point, we'll discuss details regarding our plans to proceed or announce rescheduled dates, if needed. We thank you for your patience and understanding in these difficult times.

To all of our Super Billiards Expo Family, As many of you may have expected, we are left with no choice but to cancel the 2020 Super Billiards Expo. Surely you all know the reasons.... We have waited as long as possible before making a final decision to see if the current Covid climate would improve. Sadly, it has not. We do not wish to jeopardize the health and safety of anyone within our community that may be at risk. Additionally, the rules and guidelines being enforced right now simply make it impossible to hold an event of this magnitude. In fact, the convention center has attempted to host smaller events, and the local government has descended upon them and shut the event down. The next Super Billiards Expo will be April 15-18, 2021. We already have some exciting plans underway to compensate for the missed event this year. We are working on details now, so stay tuned. Players Championship competitors: Many of you have already requested refunds due to the change in dates. Some of you have already transferred your entry to 2021. Since the event is now formally cancelled - we will carry over all entries to the 2021 show, unless we hear otherwise. You are more than welcome to submit a request for a refund at any time, up to 24 hours before the Player's Meeting for your event. See website for details. TAP League Rally in the Valley Players: Please contact your local League Operator for details on what this change means for you. You are also welcome to contact TAP Nationals at 800-984-7665 or visit their website. Exhibitors: We assume you plan to attend in 2021, so we will simply re-assign your booth reservation. You do not need to do anything. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, just let us know. Thanks again to all for your patience in these trying times. We were hoping that things would improve so that we could host the show in October. But, we also need to provide enough time for you to make changes to your schedule. IMPORTANT NOTICE: It has come to our attention that an email has been sent out in regards to Hotel Booking Links for 2021, designed to deceive people into looking as though it came from us. This email appears to come from "[email protected]" but it may come from another address, we simply don't know. This is not sanctioned by us in any way, nor any of the local hotels we work with (that we know of) -- please do not use the links they sent you and be careful who ...you provide your credit card information to. You can find Hotels and contact info on our website to contact them directly. We do not know who this may have been sent to - I assume they are phishing for emails (possibly from the Exhibitor Directory on our website) and just trying to run a scam. That said - we hope you are all doing well and staying safe during these crazy times. The show is still scheduled for October, but, like you, we are keeping an eye on the situation and will re-evaluate the safety of holding the show as the dates draws near. We remain optimistic that our medical and scientific community will have the situation under better control by then. Stay safe!

For all the TAP Rally in the Valley Players, we have an official statement for you as well, from TAP Headquarters: **UPDATE Rally in the Valley and TAP Nationals** We want to thank you all for being so patient while we work through all of the challenges that are being thrown "our" way. This "new norm" is definitely putting some bumps in the road, but nothing that we cannot work through.... With the current status of almost every state, due to Covid-19 and many conversations with Allen Hopkins Sr. it has been decided to postpone the event. The new dates are October 22-25. We are also working on an alternative for Nationals, the plan is to move it out to 2021 so the events are not back to back, and it makes it easier for all involved. This will also help due to the shortened sessions and the ability to send teams. Our main concern is the health and safety of our TAP Family.. Players, Licensees, and their Families. We had hoped pushing back two months would be sufficient time, but there remains too much uncertainty at this moment, and we want to ensure you all have ample time to make any required travel ar...rangements. The next Super Billiards Expo will now be held October 22-25, 2020. We are optimistic that the Covid-19 situation will be under better control by then, ensuring the safety of our guests traveling in from around the world.
