Lenker Manor, Santa is on his way! We will be starting on Wilhelm Rd, and working East towards Francis Cadden Parkway!

Earlier this morning, #Tower91 was requested to transfer to Cumberland County Station 12 (Lower Allen) along with Cumberland Squad 20, while 12 operated at a first due House Fire. Tower & Squad were later sent to the scene and assisted with opening up for the Engine Companies. #Swatara91

**OPERATION SANTA RUN 2020** We will be escorting Santa through Lenker Manor, Oberlin and Enhaut on Monday and Tuesday evenings next week. Monday evening (12/21) we will have Santa in Lenker Manor, starting at 6pm. Tuesday evening (12/22) we will have Santa in the Oberlin and Enhaut areas, starting at 5pm. We will be following the latest CoVID guidelines from the North Pole, as well as established CDC, PA and Swatara Township pandemic guidelines. It will be a little diffe...rent this year, but then again, what hasn't been different in 2020! - Firefighters will be wearing masks/face coverings as required by Swatara Fire-Rescue - Santa will NOT be available for pictures, but he will still be on the fire apparatus to wave and say hello! - We will NOT be handing out treats this year. Unfortunately, we will not be able to take Santa down every street in the areas those nights. We will be making a post each night, and will use that post to announce what street we are heading to. Santa is looking forward to seeing everyone Monday and Tuesday!

This evening at 1657, #Rescue91 was dispatched on the 1st Alarm w/ Entrapment assignment to the 100 Block of S Harrisburg St in the 50-01 Box. Rescue 91 arrived as the 1st Due Special Service and split for searches & suppression. Crews from Engine 50 located a fire in the basement. Yesterday throughout the day, in house staffing provided coverage for Winter Storm Gail. Units handled 6 calls through the storm including a box alarm in Highspire Borough, a hazmat in Rutherford, and a Truck Fire in Chambers Hill.
