I didn’t know it then but this is my last rooftop shoot for a while. Our building shut down access to all our outdoor spaces starting yesterday and I will truly miss being able to sit outside. This pandemic is rough and while I am all for stopping the spread, I also know what vein go outside does for my mental health. :sigh: This too shall pass. And I’ll be back to shooting beautiful people with that beautiful view soon enough

To my fellow creatives who feel both like they are drowning in work but terrified for the shutdowns that start today in Philadelphia, know that I believe in us. I believe in our collective resilience, our ability to create even when the world feels dark and that we will weather this storm. I am making plans for creative projects I can do during this down season, things to do to keep my spirits up and my creativity going and I encourage you to do the same. The world will need us more than ever on the other side of this because what we do brings joy

This election has overwhelmed me and so I have stayed pretty quiet about it here but with a day to go I just wanted to remind all of you to vote. Especially in PA. Our future needs a change, not four more years of this and people like me need the security to know that the president won’t do more damage to marriages like mine or people like me. So vote. And vote the whole ticket too. More than just the president matters ok? Let’s give the future generations an American we are proud of or at least more proud of than how we feel right now.
