This week's caregiver of the week is Nicole D! Nicole has been working for Synergy Homecare for 5 years and her favorite part about her job is being able to help the elderly. It has been something she has been doing since she was 14 years old. Taking care of her great grandmother was something that was important to her and she wanted to do the same for others. In her free time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and hiking. Her motivation to do her best as a home health aide is the smile she gets when she is there with the clients. To the caregivers that are just starting out Nicole has some advice. Be patient and communicate with your clients. The best support is you being by their side and giving them good words of encouragement. Thank you for everything that you do Nicole! We couldn’t do it without you!

This week's caregiver of the week is Glenda R! Glenda has been with Synergy HomeCare for over 5 years. Glenda’s favorite part about her job is caring for the clients. She loves making them laugh and listening to the stories they tell. In her free time, Glenda enjoys word find books, gardening, canning, lawn work, and tending to her flowers. Her favorite movie is Away and Back and her favorite book is The Bible. Glenda’s motivation to do her best as a home health aid is knowing that the clients depend on her. To the caregivers that are just starting out here is Glenda’s advice. You have to be patient with them. Understand that some of the clients are not in the best of health and can be a bit grouchy at times. Patience is key when working with them. Thank you for everything you do Glenda! We couldn’t do it without you!
