Hi, friends!! We just wanted to let you know that we are meeting in April to discuss our re-launch of Tales for Tails, so stay tuned and check back here for more info!! We're so excited to bring this program back and are certain it will be better than ever! Thank you for the messages asking when we're coming back- We have missed you (although not as much as our canine friends have missed you and your kiddos)!!!

Hi friends!! It’s been such a long time and we miss seeing your faces around the shelter! We’re sure we’ll get back to reading to our canine friends again one day, but until then please check this out and share the link- Just because it’s closed right now doesn’t mean adoptions can’t happen. They’re bringing the animals right to your screen!

The York County SPCA will be cancelling Tales for Tails on Sunday, March 22nd due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The shelter is temporarily closed to the public, and we anticipate reopening on Tuesday, March 31st. Therefore, all events scheduled during those two weeks will be cancelled or postponed. As we hope to reopen before April, we currently plan to keep Tales for Tails scheduled for Sunday, April 5th. If we must remain closed for a longer timeframe and must cancel the April 5th event, as this is a fluid situation, we will let you know! Thanks for understanding!!

Our pups will miss your sweet young readers, but they’ll still get excellent care and will be waiting for you in a few weeks when the SPCA re-opens again.
